Combine study in London at this special time of the year with a leisure and sightseeing programme in the afternoons and weekends.For students aged 18 and over there are special prices for centrally located student residences.

Internship Programme IPL

Enhance your career prospects and improve your English by combining an English language programme with a period of unpaid work for a small or medium sized London company. Start with an English Language course and continue learning language and skills while working. You will learn English in a real working environment, meet local people, as well as learning practical work skills and get valuable work experience with professional internships in fields such as sales, marketing, tourism, fashion and foreign trade. Adding UK experience will improve your C.V.

    ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES
    Take any English course of 2 weeks minimum prior your internship to get prepared for an English working environment.
    Choose from:
    - General English
    - Club 8 Professional
    - IELTS Preparation
    - Cambridge Examination Preparation
    Sessions per week: 20 or 28

    Start Dates: Every Monday. When Monday is a public holiday, classes start on Tuesday.

    The school will be closed on the following public holidays in 2019: April 19, April 23, May 6, May 27, August 26.

    Courses will not run for two weeks over Christmas and New Year: from 23/12/2019 to 03/01/2020.

    Age: 18-30

    English levels: B2 and above

    Minimum length:
    Charity Retail: 2 weeks
    Professional: 6 weeks
    Specialist, such as Engineering, IT, Graphic Design: 12 weeks

    Internship fees include:
    • Work experience certificate
    • A letter of reference

    Note: Internships are not covered by British Council accreditation in London.

    ENROLMENT
    Start the application process early enough to ensure that we receive all documents 6 weeks before the internship begins.
    - Complete and send the application form with your CV and letter of motivation in English.
    - We’ll confirm your acceptance on the internship programme.
    - The internship organiser contacts suitable companies and during your course you’ll have an interview before the placement is finalised.
    - The organiser is available during your placement and monitors your progress.
    - At the end you complete a report on your experience and a certificate is awarded.
